If you wish to apply for this post on a secondment basis then please make your line manager aware before applying.What you’ll be doingAs a Admin and Business Support Officer you’ll ensure the service runs smoothly by responding to face-to-face enquiries, answering the telephone, responding to emails; resolving enquires in an efficient way. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate electronic filing systems to ensure all records are up-to-date and remain confidential as well as process payment of orders/invoices or payments direct to individuals. You may support meetings by taking notes/minutes, cover reception duties and switchboard services.What you’ll needYou’ll have some experience of carrying out administration tasks, supporting meetings as well as have a good understanding of the importance of customer care. Using good verbal and written communication skills, you’ll provide excellent customer service when resolving and responding to a variety of enquiries. With strong organisational skills, you’ll be able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment; ensuring telephone enquiries are answered in an efficient manner. You’ll have proficient IT skills to carry out general administrative tasks, maintain records and databases and produce simple reports to aid service delivery.
