Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of the design process from initial concept through to completion.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Design Manager in managing and coordinating the design process across all project phases.
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate efficient communication and document flow.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for compliance, constructability, and alignment with the Building Safety Act.
- Maintain and monitor design programmes, trackers, and action plans.
- Help identify and resolve potential design issues early in the process.
- Degree-qualified in Architecture, Engineering, or a related construction discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in design coordination or assistant design management within the construction or development sector.
- Understanding of the Building Safety Act regulations and their impact on the design and construction process.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and wider industry standards is advantageous.
