- Taking customer order details by telephone and from email requests
- Data entry of sales orders including processing orders
- Raising Sales Invoices.
- Processing and generating transport paperwork
- Processing of customer payment information
- Confirming the status of customer orders and deliveries, keeping customers updated regarding any delays / changes on orders
- Dealing with day to day customer enquiries, relating to orders
- Answering customer (and potential customer) product enquiries
- Liaising closely with Transport Department
- To comply with company health, safety and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriately.
- To act in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices.
- To perform duties as directed by Manager
- Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment
- Computer literate with strong communication skills
- Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Good telephone manner
- Flexibility to undertake a wide variety of administration tasks
- You will be highly organised paying attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work individually under your own initiative
