  • To carry out all aspects commissioning equipment and customer sites worldwide.
  • To conduct maintenance of associated facilities and equipment to ensure the accurate delivery of the Commissioning process to the highest standards.
  • To assist with pre commissioning activities in testing of the equipment as required prior to delivery to site.
What you will do:
  • Oversee the commissioning process for turbine-powered generator sets, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on the installation and operation of gas turbines.
  • Conduct performance tests and validate the reliability and efficiency of systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to continuously improve processes and services.
What You Will Bring:
  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in the aerospace or industrial gas turbine sector.
  • Strong understanding of gas turbine technology and generator set operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Multi-disciplined qualified engineer, HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to understand technical electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Excellent fault-finding skills on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • PLC control code understanding and development experience (Allen Bradley RS Logix is preferred)
  • SCADA understanding and development experience (Wonderware preferred)
  • Generator protection knowledge and experience
