- Minimum of HND or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or able demonstrate a suitable level of experience.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including pumped treatment systems and hydraulics.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as MS office suite and relevant engineering design software packages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve engineering issues.
- Strong project & organizational skills: able to prioritize tasks, manage designs and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and permit requirements in relation to water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in design calculations, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of water and wastewater engineering, membership of a professional organisation such as ICE or IMECHE. Professional registration will be supported
