CLEARANCE: SC eligibleJob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in AWS stack and lead a team of other engineers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Data Engineer who is skilled in both Data Analysis & Engineering, but tips towards Engineer side.
- The key elements for this role will be communication & technical skills.
- Candidate must be able to look out for the other engineers, debate technical choices and drive forward chosen solutions.
- The project is not very mature and is facing design challenges. The Lead Data Engineer would need to be able to debate on: does the project press forward w/ Databricks solution that allows the team to up skill without bringing in specialist talent OR build everything by hand. The former would be ideal.
- AWS: ECS, KMS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Python, Databricks, MongoDB, Spring Boot
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
