Children are supported to achieve academically while developing kindness, resilience, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.The role:The role will involve teaching across Key Stages within the primary setting, delivering high-quality lessons, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Whether covering short-term supply needs or engaging in a longer-term placement, you will play a key role in supporting children’s progress and wellbeing.Main Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach across Key Stages, adapting to the needs of individual learners.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively.
  • Promote positive behaviour management and a safe, inclusive classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Encourage creativity and a love of learning in every lesson.
  • Participate in school activities, assemblies, and wider community events.
Skills & Requirements for Primary Teacher:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for primary education and child development.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to support a range of learning styles.
  • Commitment to maintaining high expectations for all learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
