Contract Type: Full-time / Part-timeAre you a supportive and enthusiastic individual eager to help KS2 pupils achieve their full potential?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Nottingham area from September 2025. As a KS2 TA, this role provides the opportunity to assist teachers in delivering lessons, support pupils’ learning, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to KS2 pupils.
  • Support individual pupils or small groups with their academic and personal development.
  • Encourage confidence, participation, and independence in learning.
  • Help monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Requirements for KS2 Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience working with KS2 pupils is desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
