- Develop, implement, and optimise production processes across multiple product lines in the medical, water, and energy sectors.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and fabrication issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure design-for-manufacture (DFM) practices.
- Monitor key production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee and support fabrication activities, including welding, machining, and assembly processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards specific to each sector.
- Support training and development of shop floor staff in production best practices and new processes.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Solid understanding of fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, CNC machining, sheet metal, etc.).
- Experience implementing continuous improvement/lean manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
