Help us to onboard the top talent to give the people we support the 'best lives possible' !Community Integrated Care is on an exciting journey of transformation and growth and we are looking to recruit an Onboarding and Induction Coordinator to join our experienced and supportive recruitment division.This is a full-time, permanent post and you can be based anywhere in the UK but must be able to travel to our head office in Widnes as and when required (normally 2-3 times a year).What is The Deal for you?

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:As our Onboarding and Induction Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind a warm, efficient, and compliant onboarding experience for new colleagues joining our charity. You'll ensure every new starter feels welcomed, supported, and prepared from offer to induction, while maintaining rigorous standards that meet legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. This role is pivotal in bridging recruitment and operational delivery, ensuring a seamless transition into service.Day to day (list not exhaustive see attached job description)People-Centred Onboarding
  • Act as the primary contact for new starters, delivering a warm and engaging welcome.
  • Guide candidates through each onboarding stage, ensuring clarity, support, and access to systems and documents.
  • Liaise with Service Leaders to ensure timely handover and readiness for each new colleague's start date.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Provide regular updates to regional teams (Recruitment, People Operations, Operations) on candidate progress.
  • Escalate concerns promptly to maintain engagement and minimise delays.
  • Prompt leaders to prepare new starter packs (e.g. lanyards, ID badges) for a consistent experience.
Operational Excellence
  • Conduct onboarding file audits and quality checks to ensure process integrity.
  • Monitor onboarding pipelines, identify trends, and escalate risks to improve regional recruitment KPIs.
  • Support TUPE transitions and acquisitions with coordinated onboarding and induction support.
Compliance and Systems
  • Manage pre-employment checks including DBS/PVG, Eligibility to Work, and references.
  • Use systems such as Eploy, NSL Valid8, Access, RefNow, Ucheck, Disclosure Scotland, and Agresso to maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Ensure confidentiality and legal compliance when handling sensitive data.

  • Background in customer service, recruitment, administration, or call centre environments.
  • Experience managing compliance checks and working towards shared team goals.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and recruitment systems).
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders via phone and in person.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and provide professional solutions.
  • Passionate about delivering a positive candidate journey.
