- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to lower KS2 students which will be left by the Class Teacher. (You may however be asked to plan your own!)
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Mark the pupils work at the end of the day ready to hand over to the permanent class teacher.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure you’re comfortable with delivering the work left and have all the resources required
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture, promoting good behavior and social skills.
- Encourage students to explore their interests and develop a love for learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in lower KS2 (Years 3 and 4) is advantageous.
- A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
