- Demonstrable experience of providing power system consultancy services for utility and developer clients
- Detailed knowledge of power system analysis and direct involvement and delivery of detailed power systems studies in software such as: DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD, IPSA, ETAP, ERACS and SKM
- Experience of performing dynamic grid connection studies to meet the requirements of Engineering Recommendation G99 and international Grid Codes.
- Skills in performing power quality assessment studies, including Engineering Recommendation G5/5, P28, and P29.
- Experience in performing insulation co-ordination studies.
- Bespoke dynamic model development in PowerFactory and PSS/E for inverter-connected generation as well as conventional AVR and governor modelling. Capability in DPL, Python, or other modelling languages.
- Knowledge of UK distribution and/or transmission network grid connection process
