Winston Churchill.Sheridan Maine is excited to be partnering with a respected accountancy practice in Wiltshire to recruit a Qualified Accountant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who is either qualified (AAT/ACA/ACCA) or part qualified.This position is perfect for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering a high level of service, and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients in the rural sector.Responsibilities of the Accountant will include:
  • Preparation and review of accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards.
  • Providing clients with clear financial advice and actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Contributing ideas to enhance the firm's services and client offering.
The successful Accountant:
  • Full or part qualified AAT/ACCA/ACA).
  • Experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical skills in preparing accounts and tax returns across varied client types.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and keen eye for detail.
