Pay: £12.21-£12.91 per hourJob description:Food Production OperativeAREA: Bala, GwyneddWorking Hours: 6am – 6pm static / 6pm – 6am static – 4 on 4 off.PAY RATES: BETWEEN £12.21 – £12.91Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Production Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety protocols and demonstrate mechanical knowledge to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of quality and safety while contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing processes.DutiesOperate and monitor food production machinery, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Adhere to food safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality control.
Perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management and product measurements.
Assist in the training of new staff on operational procedures and safety practices.
Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly to minimise downtime.RequirementsProven experience in food production or a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Basic math skills for accurate measurement and inventory tracking.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts as required by production schedules.
