You’ll work alongside experienced educators who are committed to mentoring and guiding you through your early teaching career.Key Responsibilities of Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT):
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support students’ academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
What We’re Looking in Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT):
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
  • Open to newly qualified and early career teachers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Relevant training or placements in educational settings (desirable).

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
