Lead Operative (Weekend)

- To perform the role of a warehouse operative plus additional duties.
- Be the first point of contact for warehouse operatives.
- Monitor activities within the designated work area to ensure tasks are completed in line with policies and procedures.
- To support the team and ensure internal SLAs are met.
- To provide support to the supervisor in key areas of processes and training.
- Supervise and delegate work tasks to the team in the absence of the supervisor.
- Adhere to all Security, Health & Safety, and housekeeping policies and processes.
- Ensure Training for the team is up to date and completed where needed.
- Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained within the designated work areas.
- To actively contribute and support the SQDIPE initiative to ensure the working environment is clean, tidy, and safe.
- Communicate work practices, procedures and methods to team members, as required.
- Escalate any performance/safety issues.
- Be a strong communicator with the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload
- Be a Team Player
- Have the ability to follow work procedures and safety rules and influence others
- Have a flexible approach to work/functions and departments
- Have the ability to train employees
