- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and concise technical recommendations and guidance.
- Facilitate workshops and technical discussions with clients to address system requirements and design issues.Systems Engineering & Project Delivery:- Lead systems engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition to final system validation and deployment.
- Conduct system architecture design, integration, and testing, ensuring solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Oversee configuration management, traceability, and compliance, working within frameworks like MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and Agile methodologies.Team Leadership & Mentorship:- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Support project management activities, including resource planning, risk management, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure that team outputs meet high standards of technical quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.Technical Expertise & Continuous Improvement:- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and systems engineering advancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.Essential Skills and QualificationsEducational Background:
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications (such as INCOSE, CSEP, or ISTQB) are a plus.Technical Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering, including consulting or project-based work.
- Demonstrated proficiency in requirements management, systems architecture, and the use of engineering tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect, and JIRA.
- Extensive experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques and Agile methodologies.Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide strategic, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing client needs and project requirements.Additional Requirements- Eligibility to work in the UK.
