Mid-late Sept start | Full-time | HybridOne of our long-standing clients in East Anglia is seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer to support their Food Safety Team on an interim basis.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out Food Hygiene Inspections in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice.
  • Completing inspection reports and updating databases.
  • Liaising with food business to ensure compliance and provide guidance.
  • Supporting any enforcement action where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Environmental Health.
  • EHRB or CIEH registered.
  • Recent experience conducting food hygiene inspections for a local authority.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or above with relevant Health & Safety experience will be advantageous.
  • Up-to-date competency framework.
  • Minimum of 20 hours CPD record.
  • Access to your own vehicles and full UK driving license.
