
Laundry Lead Supervisor

- Coordinate shift patterns to fully support production.
- Collect and replenish garments and GMP PPE consumables.
- Process training garments, QC sampling garments, and lab coats.
- Control hand gels and IPA wipes in all changing areas.
- Maintain relationships with external laundry vendors.
- Perform uniform tailoring, badge sewing, minor repairs, and alterations.
- Dispose of old uniforms according to site waste procedures.
- Service machines regularly to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
- Ensure all operatives understand the Laundry SOP 000049256.
- Provide timely training, including chemical handling.
- Coordinate monthly Level 1 surveillance with no overdue.
- Maintain and regularly reassess the Risk Assessment log.
- Handle and allocate locker management for the site.
- Collaborate with supply chain to order and replenish consumables.
- Ensure all staff adhere to safety rules.
- Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings with staff, including goal setting.
- Promote the use of PPI in the department and engage in the JDI process.
- Future-proof the laundry department in line with site growth plans.
- Ensure laundry is audit inspection-ready at all times.
- Understand and follow emergency procedures.
- Align with EH&S policies, rules, and instructions.
- Report and investigate all accidents, near misses, and rule breaches.
- Able to lead a small team.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Good understanding of GMP requirements for Sterile Pharma Manufacturing.
- Proficient in electronic document management tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Focused and able to concentrate on repetitive tasks.
