A Vibrant school with Ofsted “Good” rating located in Tower Hamlets, London is seeking a dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic High level teaching assistant to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual meaning to flourish their career in education, offering first-hand classroom experience and a chance to make a great impact on student’s learning and development.Responsibilities:As a higher-level teaching assistant, you will be:
  • Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Supervise and support students across various year groups in the absence of their regular class teacher.
  • Assist assessments and record keeping as required.
  • Assist with the organisation of school trips, events, and enrichment activities.
Candidate specification:
  • Qualified teacher status(QTS), relevant degree (usually a bachelor’s in education or a subject related to the one you’ll teach).
  • previous experience working with children or in a school environment.
  • Can build strong relationships with students and staffs.
  • Follow safeguarding protocols and prioritise student safety.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
