You’ll be a trusted partner to our Payroll Manager, playing a key part in delivering a smooth, compliant payroll experience while supporting the exciting rollout of our new managed service provider. From answering colleague queries with care to collaborating with our People Services team and payroll bureaus, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us maintain the high standards our teams rely on every month.To review the full job description please clickQualificationsWe welcome your application to our Payroll Specialist vacancy if you have the following qualifications and skills:Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in payroll dataDemonstrated experience in a dedicated payroll role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site environmentAdvanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets with confidenceSolid understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and best practices, with the confidence to work independently and take ownershipComfortable managing payroll across a diverse, multi-location workforceCIPP Level 3 qualification (or working towards)Additional InformationAt PortmanDentex, you’ll be part of an inclusive, collaborative team environment where your development and potential are encouraged, and your new ideas and innovative approaches are welcomed.We offer a remote or hybrid working model that allows you to split your week between working from home, and our support office in Cheltenham. This will likely be 1 or 2 days a week in the office, with full flexibility around the days that work best for you, and the rest working from home. Our office is conveniently located opposite the racecourse entrance, and features a café on-site, free parking, and beautiful parkland surroundings.In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package (which will be on a pro-rata basis) includes:
