A friendly and welcoming primary school in Chigwell is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 to cover maternity leave.This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring young learners and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment. The role will involve taking full responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering high-quality lessons, and ensuring pupils make excellent progress throughout the year.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.Assess, track, and record pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.Uphold the school’s values, behaviour policies, and safeguarding procedures.What the School is Looking For✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
