It starts with you.As a Planning Analyst, you'll play a key role in enabling strategic planning across the charity, helping ensure initiatives are prioritised and sequenced to deliver maximum value with our available resources.Working closely with the Lead Planning Delivery Manager and senior stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll help maintain and manage our initiative backlog, support business case development, and ensure planning governance is embedded and effective. Your work will contribute directly to the formation and success of complex, multi-year, multi-million-pound programmes that support Nuffield Health’s strategic objectives.As the Planning Analyst you will:Review the accuracy and integrity of our charity-wide planning backlog and portfolio view, because great decisions start with great visibility.Help shape strong, measurable business cases that turn bold ideas into actionable plans.Champion and refine our planning tools and governance processes, so they’re as efficient and intuitive as the people using them.Work across teams and departments to ensure priorities are clear, resources are aligned, and approvals are smooth.Lead the charge on reporting cycles, helping the organisation stay on track with quarterly and annual reviews that inform our direction and delivery.To succeed as a Planning Analyst, we’re looking for:Experience in enterprise-level planning and demand managementStrong knowledge of planning processes, governance, and toolsExcellent stakeholder management, including at senior levelsHigh attention to detail and analytical capabilitySelf-motivated and able to work under pressureFamiliarity with project portfolio management (PPM) toolsDesirable Qualifications & Experience:Relevant degree or vocational qualificationProfessional certifications (e.g. P3O, PRINCE2, PMI)Experience supporting large business change programmesIn this role, you’ll be central to how we plan, govern, and deliver initiatives that truly make a difference.
