The hospital offers an array of services for both NHS and private patients, including; MRI, ultrasound, X-Ray, endoscopy, pain management, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, gynaecology, vascular services, and more.Who we’re looking forWe are looking for a dedicated, positive, enthusiastic healthcare assistant who is willing to contribute to further development of the Endoscopy department that will deliver a safe and exceptional patient experience. You will be a valued and fundamental part of the team, caring for patients who may go on to undergo day-surgery procedures and expected to promote the highest levels of quality healthcare.The post-holder should possess a good general standard of literacy and numeracy, education to GCSE level or equivalent. Previous healthcare experience is desirable but training can be supported within the team.What you’ll be doingThe Health Care Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the endoscopy unit lead and undertake tasks and duties delegated by the operational lead and or clinical lead. Primary duties will be based around the decontamination and assisting the workforce of Decontamination staff in providing a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patients attending the endoscopy service. You will work collaboratively with the endoscopy team to maintain a high standard of care under the direction of the operational manager, following the Company's policies and procedures at all times.We are Cora HealthCora is a leading provider of community healthcare services in the UK.
