Location: West WorcestershireSimon Acres Group are working in partnership with a well-established trade supplier to recruit a Trade Counter Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and growing team in a customer-facing role offering long-term progression and full training for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Sales
- Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and online.
- Offer guidance on products, materials, and equipment suited to their needs.
- Process sales transactions and issue accurate invoices.
- Manage stock levels, ensuring availability of essential materials.
- Order and replenish supplies, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assist with deliveries, including loading/unloading and moving goods to storage.
- Pick and prepare orders, coordinating timely deliveries to customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to undertake physical tasks.
- Previous experience in a trade environment (plumbing, heating, or similar) is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a fast-paced setting.
