Progression: Clear pathway to Director-levelShape, Lead, and Build – A Major Role in a Growing BusinessThis is a pivotal leadership role with a well-established specialist contractor – known for delivering high-quality sports surfaces, civil engineering projects, and complex groundworks across the UK.With a stronghold in South Wales, the business is now scaling its North Wales operation, and this role is central to that growth. There are already active projects in the region – now they need someone to take ownership, lead delivery, and drive expansion alongside the directors.The Opportunity
  • Full hybrid working – work from site, home, or the main office when needed
  • Full autonomy – you'll have the freedom to run and grow the region as if it were your own business
  • Backed by the main team – experienced directors, commercial support, and delivery infrastructure are all in place
  • Build your own team – source and manage new sub-contractors, hire staff as the region grows, and shape the division your way
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial and operational performance across all North Wales projects
  • Work alongside directors on business development and strategic growth
  • Oversee contract negotiations, tenders, and project delivery
  • Build and manage regional delivery teams and supply chains
  • Ensure consistent quality, profitability, and client satisfaction
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong commercial and/or operational experience in construction, groundworks, civil engineering, or sports surfacing
  • Track record of delivering multi-site projects with full lifecycle oversight
  • Confidence managing clients, budgets, and technical delivery
  • A hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset – ready to lead and scale
  • Ambition to progress to Director-level as the business expands
