
Billing Assistant

- £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience (pro rata)
- 6 month fixed term contract
- Modern Leatherhead offices with hybrid available
- Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week

- Raising client bills for a selection of partners/managers
- Raising the bill in Word
- Creating the draft email to send to client
- Sending the client bills via to the relevant partner/manager for approval
- Liaising with stakeholders to maintain the client services and jobs within the Practice Management system to ensure that only relevant options are available
- General maintenance of data held on the PE system
- Running various reports for internal departments
- Assisting in the month end reconciliations
- In time, meeting with partners on aged WIP to determine whether it is fully recoverable
- Liaising with credit control to process credit notes, invoices and write offs
- Experience of billing in a professional services environment
- Awareness of deadlines and ability to prioritise and be flexible if priorities change
- IT literate, be able to use Excel/Word
- Organised due to the volume of work that flows through the department
- Ability to work using your own initiative or as part of a team
- Be proactive and ask questions where necessary
- Demonstrate professionalism towards stakeholders
