Job Category: CateringJob Description:Salary £24,404 - £25,183 per annum l Permanent, Part time, 33.75 hours per week l Queens Drive Primary School | FulwoodUnit Catering Supervisor (Grade 4)Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.You will work as part of a team in Queens Drive primary school Fulwood providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plansDirect and/or supervise other employeesOrder supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock controlMaintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygieneTransport of nursery mealsWhat we are looking for:Experience of large scale cateringKnowledge of food service and catering in generalOrganisational, cost control and supervisory skillsRecognised supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirableWorking Hours/Days:Monday to Friday 7.30-2.15pmTerm time only + 4 cleaning days during the school closure33.75 hours per week, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptakeIf you're already a Lancashire County Council employee you must apply via the internal vacancies option on .
