You'll be given responsibility from the outset in a fast-paced, exciting working environment with the chance to work on multiple projects and gain experience and knowledge from subject matter experts across the business.If you feel you are a good fit for the role of Graduate Acoustic Consultant working from our Leicester Office.Key role responsibilities:Under the guidance and supervision of our team, you will learn how to:Undertake noise and vibration impact assessmentsCarry out sound insulation testingComplete computational noise calculations for Building and Environmental AcousticsProduce technical reports suitable for client submissionMaintain and build relationships with trusted clientsCollaborate with team from the commencement to completion of projectsThis role can occasionally involve, night and potentially weekend work, and travel throughout the UK for which you will be renumerated for.Key skills, experience and attributes required:Educated to a minimum standard of degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subjectFull UK driving licenceGood numeracy skillsExcellent written and verbal skills, particularly report writing and client liaisonGood IT skills, in particular Microsoft OfficeThe ability to make effective decisions whilst remaining calm under pressureSelf-motivated with a proactive and positive attitudeEligible to work in the UKDesirable Skills:Knowledge of Building Regulations or British Standard industry guidelinesOn site construction experienceExperience in the use of AutoCAD, CadnaA or similar design/analysis software packagesExperience and accreditation in Building Acoustics (UKAS/SITMA) in line with Approved Document EOur Benefits:Our BenefitsAt M-EC, we value a healthy work-life balance.
