Planner / Scheduler – Contact CentreLocation: Pride Park, Derby
Pay Rate: £28,000 per annum (£14.36 per hour)
Contract: 12-month fixed term (with potential to go permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Working Arrangement: Primarily office-based, with hybrid working considered based on performance
Driving Licence: RequiredMorson Talent is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Severn Trent for a Planner / Scheduler to join their growing team in Pride Park, Derby.This is a fantastic opportunity to support a vital area of the business focused on reactive scheduling within the wastewater network, working in a fast-paced and highly responsive environment.About the Role
As part of the WPNO Scheduling Team, you’ll play a key role in managing and coordinating engineer visits for reactive maintenance issues such as leaks, pollution incidents, or other urgent unplanned events. You’ll be the link between the contact centre and field teams, ensuring work is scheduled efficiently and with minimal delay.This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in scheduling or coordination and is confident handling urgent, changing workloads.Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule reactive maintenance jobs across the wastewater network
  • Coordinate engineer visits in response to urgent incidents such as leaks or pollution
  • Liaise with contact centre agents and field-based teams to ensure rapid response
  • Maintain accurate records on internal systems
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and ongoing training plans
  • Take part in regular reviews and performance check-ins
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a scheduling or coordination role (any industry)
  • Able to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using IT systems and databases
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence is essential due to potential site visits or future flexibility
  • Experience in a contact centre or operational environment is beneficial
