- Plan and deliver engaging courses across a range of Foundation Studies programmes
- Focus particularly on Access to Further Education programmes
- Take an active role in developing learners' essential skills for independence
- Prepare students for successful progression to employment or further study
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of programmes within the Foundation Studies area
- Support learners in building confidence and achieving their potential
- A degree in a relevant subject area OR minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation Studies
- Proven experience of teaching within the Foundation Learning area, including Functional Skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of good practice in Foundation Studies delivery
- Passion for supporting learners who may face barriers to education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices
- Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector
- Experience in curriculum development
- Understanding of progression pathways for Foundation learners
