• Delivery Scope Description : Duration & Capacity: Part-time engagement (3 4 days/week) Commitment expected through to 2027 Languages Required: Fluent in German or English Location: Remote with potential for occasional on-site collaboration Scope of Task We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BTP Developer with proven expertise in both SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and dairy industry processes. This expert will be instrumental in driving the design and implementation of a global Dairy Planning Solution, aimed at becoming a market-ready product by 2027. The consultant will support the preparation and coordination of a development partnership, align technical design with dairy-specific requirements, and contribute directly to system development and integration efforts. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance a dairy-specific industry solution on SAP BTP Actively support the global implementation of dairy planning processes Take ownership of: Interface architecture and development Coordination with external development partners Integration of dairy-specific business logic Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into scalable solutions Integrate key dairy processes into the solution, including but not limited to: Milk collection from farmers Quality assessment (fat/protein levels, bacteria count, temperature) Farmer settlement and payment logic Ensure accurate representation of push production processes within the solution Support standardization to ensure the solution covers a broad range of industry-relevant requirements Coordinate development activities with Softproviding, the key development partner Oversee customizing and configuration within an S/4HANA on-premise environment Required Qualifications Multiple years of experience as a BTP Developer or in a similar SAP development role In-depth process knowledge in dairy operations, specifically in: Milk delivery and collection logistics Dairy production and quality assurance Farmer and supplier settlement processes Familiarity with Dairy Management in S/4HANA, particularly on-premise installations Proven track record of customizing and implementing production-oriented SAP solutions Strong ability to bridge the gap between IT and business requirements Experience coordinating and collaborating with external development partners Fluent in German or English What We Offer Strategic involvement in a flagship industry solution project with global visibility Close collaboration with leading technology and dairy industry stakeholders Flexible work arrangements (remote and part-time) Opportunity to contribute to an innovative and industry-defining product Long-term assignment with ongoing influence through 2027 All necessary information and documentation will be provided by SAP in Advance
