- Responsible for the timely administration of employee information input on to Success Factors
- The administration of attendance and sickness records of all employees working with managers to reduce short term absence
- Provide references for employees with regard to bank accounts, renting of property, reference requests
- Provide a service to site employees that is perceived as adding value
- Support the HR Manager in providing timely advice, coaching and support to the Line Managers on all HR or ER related issues.
- Support the HR Manager and Line Managers in all aspects of recruitment and selection process including interviews, correspondence, and worker interviews
- Attend School and Careers Fairs
- Play an active part in the site Corporate Social Responsibility programme
- Contribute to the improvement of local and Group Strategies, policies and procedures ensuring both legal and ethical auditing requirements
- Play an active role in ensuring the department continues support the group HR Strategy Plan 5- Pillars and lead when required on group projects
- Support managers to ensure completion of mid-year reviews and the appraisal process
- Actively contribute to ensure positive results and completion of the annual Our Voice – Employee survey
- Assist with Ethical Audits including the administration and management of SEDEX
- Take full responsibility for ensuring full site induction is carried out in accordance with site and group policy for all employees and agency workers plus the processing of documentation
- Actively support the HR Manager in promoting employee events
- Take an active role in the site Employee Focus Group meetings
- Dealing with general daily correspondence
- Assisting with staff accommodation
- Helping with general employee welfare
- Carry out all procedures in a safe manner in accordance with the attached Health and Safety responsibilities
- Comply with company policy and procedure on safe food handling and hygiene at all times.
- Take an active role in ensuring all Overseas Tier 2 Workers and dependants meet all requirements and are provided with full assistance including assisting with VISA extensions
- Take responsibility, when required, Disciplinary and Grievance Hearing's plus provide support with Investigation Hearings
- Take ownership for Early Careers which includes college placements and Apprenticeships.

- You must be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or degree level
- Previous experience of working within similar or same environment
- Experience of working within HR
- Intermediate or above IT skills
- Able to work under own initiative
- Be a team player working with colleagues to do what is best for the Company as a whole, ahead of divisional, department or personal goals
- Wants to develop and help others to develop
- Ability to work under pressure
