We’re recruiting graduate Teaching Assistants to join Primary Schools across South Manchester, helping pupils thrive while gaining first-hand experience in a rewarding and supportive setting.About the RoleAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers to support learning and behaviour in the classroom. You’ll work with individuals and small groups — including pupils with additional needs — helping to make lessons inclusive, engaging, and effective.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons across the curriculum
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who need extra support
  • Assisting with classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Encouraging pupil progress and confidence
  • Acting as a positive role model at all times
Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking graduates who are:
  • Passionate about education and making a difference in children's lives
  • Great communicators with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Keen to gain experience before starting teacher training
  • Experienced with children or young people (e.g. in schools, tutoring, camps, mentoring, etc.)
  • Confident managing behaviour in a primary school setting
  • Open to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
