Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Hove, Sussex. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start and will be based on a female inpatient ward.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care within an adult inpatient setting
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the multidisciplinary team
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and relevant clinical guidelines
- Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and clinical audits
- Full GMC registration
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within inpatient and female ward settings
- Previous experience in a Consultant role within the NHS
