Senior Small Animal Vet - salary up to £68K DOE

• Friendly team of 9 vets with multiple certificate holders or working towards certificate
• Fantastic highly capable nursing team with 14 RVNs and 5 SVNs, comfortable with schedule 3 procedures, run a variety of nurse-led clinics including weight clinics, diabetic clinics and geriatric clinics
• Monthly vet meetings to share CPD, discuss interesting cases, and input into improvements to the practice
• Monthly Journal Club
• Passionate about QI - regular clinical audits leading to improved ways of working
• Support from a visiting orthopaedic and imaging advanced practitioner, and weekly ophthalmology clinic with a certificate holder
• 15 minute consults in 1.5-2 hour blocks, with ring-fenced on-the-day appointments and regular gaps provided, including 30 minutes paid 'wrapping up' time after the last appointment
• Focus on work-life balance - 4 days a week, 1 Saturday in 4 with a day back in lieu the following week, no OOH, TOIL system for the rare times we get caught late
• Well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, dental x-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope, in-house lab with dedicated lab technician

• 5+ years qualified, looking to move into the next stage of your career
• Enjoys working as part of a friendly collaborative team
• Ideally looking for a full time role but scope for flexibility for the right candidate

• Work as part of a dedicated and enthusiastic leadership team
• Dedicated off-rota time to support new and recent graduates to build their skills
• Regular one-to-ones to discuss development and progression
• Support for working towards a certificate, or developing area of interest further if a certificate holder (e.g. dedicated clinics/surgery time etc)
• Salary up to £68,000 DOE
• 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy/sell additional holiday
• Receive an extra day's leave per year for your first five years
