Are you looking for part-time work?Have you got experience working with children?A wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in the BS8 area of Bristol are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across some KS2 classes starting in September.You will be joining a fabulous Key Stage 2 team, who work hard to provide an exciting and engaging learning environment for their pupils, a safe place for them to be themselves and explore their understanding of the world.The RoleYou will be expected to work every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 to 3:30.The Head Teacher is looking for a flexible candidate, someone who can use their initiative when supporting groups of students with their learning, along with adapting activities to support individual pupils.You will be expected to:
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities.
  • Be a resourceful candidate, who can adapt activities to meet the needs of individuals.
  • Work 1:1 with children and in small groups supporting interventions.
  • Be patient and encourage pupils to challenge themselves.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
