Join Our Team as a Storesperson/Workshop Support!We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Storesperson/Workshop Support to join our clients team in Eccleshall. If you enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!What You'll Do:
As a Storesperson/Workshop Support, you will play a crucial role in managing the stores and providing essential support to the workshop. Your responsibilities will include:Stores Management:
  • Control all incoming and outgoing deliveries with precision.
  • Utilise our stock control system effectively.
  • Arrange and pick materials for workshop and service engineers.
  • Deliver items to customer sites using a company van.
  • Collaborate with our procurement manager to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Workshop Support:
  • Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.
  • Mark, drill, and cut various materials accurately, including deburring metal.
  • Keep stock checks up to date for non-stores items.
  • Utilise basic hand skills with battery-operated power tools and hand tools.
  • Embrace opportunities to learn new skills and operate diverse equipment.
Who You Are:
We're looking for someone with a proactive attitude and a passion for precision. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Essential experience in warehouse or stock control work.
  • A Counterbalance FLT Licence - our client will support with a re-test if necessary for the right person
  • A clean driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a strong work ethic.
  • A sense of pride in your work, with a focus on organisation and tidiness.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools to a good standard.
  • Familiarity with software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
