We are committed to supporting local merchants and creators through our safe and trusted shopping platform.UK Operations team is responsible for identifying, onboarding and growing new merchants as well as creating long term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages hundreds of merchants and thousands of products which customers are able to buy on TikTok Shop. Merchants sell by posting their own content, or by working with creators to post content on their behalf. The team is set to grow throughout 2024 in order to continue to deliver sales for our merchants and ensure customers continue to have access to market leading brands in the UK.Responsibilities:
- Defining the long-term strategy, leading key initiatives, and setting future direction of the Category
- Providing industry knowledge and leveraging own network to ensure success of category
- Hiring and coaching the best talent
- Acquiring partners by actively identifying, prioritising and onboarding to the platform
- Developing partners by driving and managing end to end partnerships
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to unlock partners' potential on the platform, drive brand growth and adoption of livestream and short videos
- Navigating through ambiguity, adapting to frequent changes and influencing key stakeholders to drive decisions for the category
- Decomposing complex problems, devising new approaches and creating scalable solutionsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 1-5 years of working experience
- Strong track record in leading a category and delivering consistent growth;
- Experience in managing diverse teams. Ability to drive results by collaborating with crossfunctional teams;
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Quick learner, proactive and resilient. Ability to cope well under pressure and thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Independent thinker, eager to win, grounded and focus on real impactPreferred Qualifications
- Experienced in relatable in-category management at an e-commerce company, a large retailer, or agency side or other company with specialism in category is preferred
- Strong sense of social content (livestream and short-video is a preference) , practical experience in the social commerce, content marketing, influencers, and creativity in the categories is a plus
