Credit Control Manager

- Lead and manage the credit control team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Design and implement customer-specific debt collection strategies
- Review and improve processes and systems to enhance performance
- Take ownership of aged debt and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
- Provide timely and insightful reporting to senior management
- Set clear team targets and objectives aligned to business goals
- Act as a point of escalation for complex disputes and ensure timely resolution
- Work closely with Sales, Billing, and other teams to support collaboration and resolve issues
- Represent the Credit Control function in internal meetings and cross-functional projects
- Proven experience in a credit control leadership role, with at least three years of management experience
- Strong understanding of debt management and credit control processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships
- Strong reporting and analytical capabilities
- Have intermediate computer software skills, including Excel
- Experience in system/process improvement initiatives
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing credit control team
