Smiley, happy, friendly, willing & keen individual required for our busy Cafe in Watford with a can do attitude who will just get on and do any task within the kitchen environment including mechanical washing up, cleaning duties, simple food preparations, serving customers, making barista coffee, operating a till.Do you have a passion for providing genuine hospitality and impeccable service? As a vital member of our food service operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and memorable dining experiences.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs and requests are efficiently addressed
  • Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs throughout their dining experience
  • Answer questions and address concerns or issues in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth operations and contribute to an inclusive and safe working environment
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and specific food service guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation as required
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, if applicable
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory management
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
  • Genuine passion for food and customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle various tasks and challenges
  • Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions (if applicable)
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Previous experience in the food service industry is desirable
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
