With opportunities for career growth, exposure to cutting-edge projects, and the chance to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, this role offers everything you need to take your career to the next level.What You Will Do:- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and internal analysis.- Act as the first point of contact for technical and administrative matters, fostering strong customer relationships.- Manage procurement processes, including handling RFQs, issuing quotes, and progressing pending orders.- Oversee the management of goods receipt and resolve any issues that arise.- Provide expert technical support and advice to engineering teams, resolving queries and driving solutions.- Organise and chair service review meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with customer needs.What You Will Bring:- HNC level qualification or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.- At least 3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering and manufacturing environment.- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team and independently.- A valid driving licence, as the role involves occsional travel to Shieldhall, Glasgow.As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the company's factories meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
