Calling all Specialist Teaching Assistants in Spalding!Teaching Personnel are assisting client schools in finding the perfect person to support their pupils, requiring 1:1 support in the classroom.About The RoleTeaching Personnelare working alongside client schools in Spalding who urgently require experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. Every working day will vary, depending upon where the 1:1 support will be needed; this will be centred on working with pupils in the upper key stages.The ideal candidate will be kind, caring & patient, who has a sympathetic understanding to each child’s needs. We want someone who ensures each child’s best interests are at heart & wants to promote a positive experience for every child’s time in education. Someone energetic & fun will be desired; able to move with the pupil and offer support in the way the pupil needs.Candidate Duties
  • Ideally have experience in KS2 – specifically working 1:1
  • Experience working in similar Primary School roles as a teaching assistant, is preferred
  • Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour & promote positive behaviour
  • Support the Social & Emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
