A well-established business based in Beverley is currently seeking an Interim Financial Controller to support their team for an initial 3-6 month period. This role offers a competitive day rate/salary depending on experience, alongside a collaborative and professional working environment.As the Interim Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the month-end close process and producing accurate management accounts
  • Managing and mentoring a small finance team to ensure timely and efficient output
  • Overseeing cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior leadership
  • Supporting the audit process and ensuring all statutory compliance
  • Streamlining financial processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Acting as the key point of contact for finance-related queries during the interim period
To be successful in this Interim Financial Controller role, you will ideally have:
  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role
  • Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to lead and support others
  • Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to make decisions independently
