We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused professional to provide top-quality oral health care to our diverse clientele. As a key member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our patients' dental health.
  • Working pattern: Tuesday (AM only) and Wednesday (all day), Saturdays available
  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments
  • Provide Guided Biofilm Treatment
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
  • Conduct periodontal therapy and administer local anaesthesia when necessary
  • Identify and document dental health issues for further evaluation by dentists
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Qualifications
  • Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Dental Hygienist qualification from an accredited institution
  • Proven experience in dental hygiene practices and procedures
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in dental charting and record-keeping systems
  • In-depth knowledge of infection control protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in providing GBT Therapy desirable
