PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £67,000 - £81,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Flexible working will be part of the discussion at offer stage.PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe Editor, Commissioning & Original Journalism will lead our specialist teams and is responsible for delivering our highest impact story telling. You will manage our team of correspondents who cover Health, Social and Home Affairs, Education, The Economy, Climate Change, Arts & Entertainment as well as Sports News and Transport. You will also manage our commissioning & impact team and will run our production spend in line with our growth strategy.Reporting to the Head of News & Current Affairs, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of journalistic excellence and diverse perspectives.WHY JOIN THE TEAM

This role will be part of the senior news management group which leads 300 journalists in bases as far apart as Shetland to Westminster.
