If “YES,” we want to hear from you!About the RoleAs a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will:
- Delivering to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
- Consistent work available for temperature-controlled runs from Haverfordwest.
- Out and back work and tramping available.
- Loading and unloading refrigerated vehicles, ensuring load security.
- Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
- Ensure timely deliveries and collections, meeting our client's requirements and maintaining high standards.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing timely updates on your progress and managing our customers' expectations effectively.
- Enjoy the adventure of rural driving, navigating beautiful landscapes and serene countryside.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards and best practices, enhancing your professional development.
- Must hold a UK Class 1 (CE) Licence.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Competitive Salary: Hourly rate of £15.21ph. This includes holiday pay. Extra £2.75ph for working Saturdays and Sundays. Extra £2.75ph for any hours worked between 21:00hrs and 04:00hrs.
