Our client, a well-established company based in Skelmersdale (Pimbo Road Area) , has an exciting opportunity for a number of production operators to join their team starting ASAP.This is a temporary ongoing contract , Starting ASAP. Applicants must be available immediately.Pay : £12.74 per hourWorking Hours : The working week is Mon - Thurs 07:50 - 16:45 & Fri 07:50 - 12:10At our client's company, you will be working within a busy assembly shop environment, operating automated machines and robots. Your responsibilities will include loading machines with products, working to deadlines, and collaborating with a dedicated team. With moderate work direction, you will have control over product quality and make a significant impact on the company's operations.To excel in this role, you should possess previous experience in a similar role, a can-do attitude, and self-motivation. Additionally, basic data entry and computer proficiency would be beneficial.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machines to perform operations and produce parts
  • Set up machines, load raw materials, operate machines, and unload finished products
  • Follow written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures
  • Apply judgement and selectivity when necessary
  • Maintain product quality control
Requirements & Experience:
  • Production line experience or fast paced line experience.
  • Strong Advantage - Moulding experience, Production lines - robotic operated, Fast paced with targets
  • Candidates from food industry production background a strong advantage
  • Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift
  • Proficiency in lifting heavy items
  • Positive attitude and motivation
