Artwork AdministratorLocation: BedfordEmployment Type: Full-Time, 12 Month FTCSalary: Competitive (Confidential – please enquire)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm1st Choice Bedford is delighted to be recruiting for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract Artwork Administrator on behalf of a renowned manufacturing company at their Bedford site. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.You’ll play a key role in ensuring packaging artwork is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time, working closely with internal teams and external partners. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover absence, offering the chance to work within a reputable industry leading company where your expertise will make a real impact.Key Responsibilities:
  • Artwork Management: Coordinate and oversee artwork changes for packaging (primary, secondary, tertiary), liaising with design agencies, printers, and suppliers.
  • Proofreading & Compliance: Check amended artwork meticulously for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • System & Records: Raise and manage part codes, maintain accurate specifications, revisions, and approval records.
  • Project Coordination: Track project timelines, ensure milestones are met, and keep stakeholders updated.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in artwork administration (ideally within pharmaceuticals or manufacturing).
  • Exceptional proofreading ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator, confident working with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat for artwork revisions/approvals.
