People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Manual Lathe Turner / Borer (Webster & Bennett) to join our well-established client based in Brownhills, West Midlands on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering an amazing annual salary and room to grow and progress.Hours of WorkFull-time, 39 hours per week (day shift). 8am - 5pmSalaryFrom £16.00 per hour (equivalent annual salary based on hours worked - £32,448)BenefitsCompany pension schemeOn-site parkingAttendance bonus payable upon full recruitmentDay-to-Day DutiesOperate manual lathes and borers to produce precision components to specification.Perform fabrication tasks, including milling.Read and interpret technical drawings.Safely handle and store materials within the warehouse.Carry out routine maintenance on machinery and tools.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues.Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during production.Essential SkillsProven experience operating manual lathes and borers.Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications.
